Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver has been forced to apologise for her second motor vehicle violation in as many weeks - after she was snapped parking in a restricted zone.
Shriver felt the wrath of her husband, the Governor of California, when photos of her breaking state driving laws by chatting on her cell phone while behind the wheel appeared online.
After the snaps appeared on TMZ.com, Schwarzenegger promised "swift action" against his wife, who later apologised and donated the phone to raise cash for domestic violence victims.
But Shriver left her politician partner red-faced yet again when she was spotted parking in a restricted zone, while visiting a doctor's office over the weekend. It is not prohibited for non-emergency vehicles to park in the spots.
Now, she has released a statement to admit she was in the wrong, saying, "I regret that I made a mistake. I take responsibility for it."
