Actor-turned-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger complains he is in constant pain after undergoing surgery on his broken leg last month (26DEC06) - contradicting statements from his office claiming he is "feeling great".
The Terminator star had a 90-minute operation on his right femur in December (26DEC06), where surgeons used cables and screws to repair the bone following his skiing accident three days earlier (23DEC06).
But despite taking time off from official engagements to recover from his ordeal, Schwarzenegger is struggling to regain a clean bill of health.
He says, "I don't think I can remember ever having had pain - ongoing pain, 24 hours a day - like after this operation.
"So this is really annoying to me. The only time when I don't have pain is when I work."
