Arnold Schwarzenegger has amended papers in his divorce from estranged wife Maria Shriver after originally asking a judge to dismiss her request for spousal support.
Shriver filed to end the marriage on 1 July (11), almost two months after Schwarzenegger confessed to fathering a lovechild with a maid at the family home over a decade ago, and requested the actor pay spousal support, as well as her attorney fees.
The Terminator star officially objected to both claims last week (20Jul11), but on Monday (25Jul11), he filed new papers, no longer challenging either of Shriver's requests, according to People.com.
The change of heart comes just days after the couple's teenage son Christopher was left in an intensive care unit after being left seriously injured in a surfing accident in Malibu, California.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver have both requested joint custody of their minor children, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13.
