Arnold Schwarzenegger is likely to lose his position as California Governor if he stands for reelection next year (06), according to polls in the US state.

A strong 57 per cent of registered voters insist they would not vote for the Republican, just 20 months after he swept to power with a landslide victory.

Just 39 per cent said they would vote for the actor next November (06).

But there is some good news for the TERMINATOR star - the poll shows he would easily beat Democrat-supporting Hollywood stars Warren Beatty and ROB REINER who have both openly criticised his policies.
