Arnold Schwarzenegger quit acting for politics because he was bored with being the world's number one action man.
The Austrian superstar turned his back on his acting career last year (03) to run for California Governor and now he's poised for a run for President - if constitutional rules change, allowing a foreigner to run for the job.
And he admits his political career was sparked when he grew tired of being a movie star.
He says, "I realised, 'I've done this, I've gotten to the top. I'm the highest paid actor, I've done all those different things,' so I said to myself, 'I'm tired of all the same things jumping over car hoods at three in the morning and then going up to someone and saying, 'I'm back' and then blow him way.
"All of this is great but eventually it gets old."02/11/2004 14:52
