Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed filming on 'The Lone Ranger' is almost complete.
Filming on 'The Lone Ranger' is close to completion.
The blockbuster - which stars Armie Hammer in the iconic lead role of John Reid / The Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp as his companion Tonto alongside Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner and Tom Wilkinson - began shooting four months ago and producer Jerry Bruckheimer is delighted with the job done so far by his cast and crew.
He wrote on his blog: ''Almost done with filming of 'The Lone Ranger'. 125 days of shooting seemed to fly by. We dealt with winds up to 70 mph, rain, snow, and even wildfires but nothing has stopped us from filming this incredible movie.
''The cast has been absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for a better crew. Everyone has been extremely dedicated in making this film a major success.
''We have a few more filming days back in California and then post-production goes into high gear. Before we know it, it will be July 3rd, 2013 and we can't wait to share this incredible film with everyone.''
The movie - which is directed by Gore Verbinski - has been filming in New Mexico, Utah, Colorado and Arizona.
'The Lone Ranger' will be released on July 3 and July 5, 2013 in the US and UK respectively.
