Last year (14), Giselle Oliveira, 35, pleaded guilty to charges of grand larceny and misdemeanour criminal possession of stolen property for using the actor's card without permission and for shoplifting from a New York City department store.

She was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and ordered to pay back $20,000 (£12,500), but was told by the judge overseeing the case that she would be jailed if she failed to complete the tasks.

Oliveira was back in court in Manhattan on Wednesday (28Oct15), and she was spared jail after successfully completing her hours and paying back all the money.

"I understand that community service was done and restitution will be paid today," Justice Michael Obus told Manhattan Supreme Court. "The conditions of the plea agreement have been met."

The judge then dismissed the charges of grand larceny and possession of stolen property and allowed her to plead guilty to two counts of misdemeanour possession of stolen property instead.

She previously dated Private Benjamin actor Assante, who took out a loan to pay her bail during the court case, according to the New York Post.
