Ariana Grande was ''very nervous'' about meeting her boyfriend Nathan Sykes' family for the first time, but admits she had nothing to worry about because they were ''so sweet and lovely'' to her.
The 'The Way' singer admits she was anxious about making a good impression on her boyfriend's family earlier this month but the brunette beauty had nothing to worry about as The Wanted singer's relations gave her a good reception and she now gets on well with them.
She said: ''I was very, very, nervous on the journey there as obviously I wanted them to like me because I really care about him. But when we arrived they were so sweet and lovely and so welcoming. I got on with them all really well.''
Ariana and Nathan, 20, went public with their romance in September, and the 20-year-old beauty claims she loves the 'All Time Low' hitmaker's geeky personality as it makes her laugh.
She added to We Love Pop magazine: ''I love it because I'm the same way, I'm very awkward as well, I think it's the sweetest thing. I love him. He makes me laugh very hard.''
Nathan recently gushed over Ariana admitting his parents were in disbelief as to how he managed to strike up a relationship with the brunette beauty.
He said: ''My family think she's amazing and they're like, 'Nathan, how?' and I'm like, 'I don't know'. I don't think anyone can ever punch above their weight, but I feel very lucky, put it that way.''
