Ariana Grande's fans have called for Wendy Williams' TV show to be cancelled after she made disparaging remarks about the singer's appearance.

Speaking on 'The Wendy Williams Show', the 51-year-old presenter said Ariana, 22, looked like she is 12 years old and she doesn't see the 'Bang Bang' hitmaker as a woman because of how short she is.

Getting the singer's age wrong, Wendy said: ''I don't look at her as a woman. She's 21, she'll forever look 12. I don't mean that in a good way. It's nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and then you're short, she's only 4ft 11.

It didn't take long for fans to get the hashtag 'CancelWendyWilliamsShow' trending as they hit out at Wendy for ''body shaming'' Ariana.

One wrote, ''I hope Wendy knows not to body shame now,'' and another added, ''She is one of the reasons of why there are ''standards'' in society and that disgust me''.

Other comments included, ''ariana: is against homophobia, animal abuse, sexism, racism... still she gets picked on cause she looks younger smh,'' and ''as someone who has the exact same body as Ariana I feel really offended to be considered not a woman?''.
