Arctic Monkeys' new single, 'The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala', taken from their recent album, 'Suck It and See' will be released on August 15th, through Domino Records. It is the second single from their fourth album, following on from their debut, 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair'.
The video for the song was directed by the Focus Creeps and was filmed in California and the band's hometown of Sheffield, England. It shows the band before, during and after various gigs, as well as shots of them walking along the coast. Shot in a mix of black and white and colour, the video's grainy quality makes it look as relaxed as the song.
Alex Turner (lead vocals, lead guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Matt Helders (drums, percussion, backing vocals) make up the Arctic Monkeys. They formed in Sheffield in 2002 and their first album, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' was released in 2006.
