Arctic Monkeys have confirmed that fan favourite Fluorescent Adolescent will be the next single to be lifted from their number one album Favourite Worst Nightmare.
The song will be released on July 9th and will be the second song to be released as a single from their second LP, with first single Brianstorm reaching number two in the UK charts.
Fluorescent Adolescent will be released on CD, seven-inch vinyl and ten-inch vinyl with brand news B-sides.
The CD will feature the title track plus The Bakery, Plastic Tramp and Too Much to Ask, with the same four songs on the ten-inch release. The seven-inch offering will just feature The Bakery.
Stephen Graham, who starred in the band's Scummy Man DVD as well as the Guy Ritchie films Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, stars in the new video for Fluorescent Adolescent.
The surreal short film includes the Monkeys' favourite actor plus a bunch of scary clowns.
Arctic Monkeys will be headlining the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival on June 22nd as well as playing T In The Park and a number of international festivals.
They will also play two shows at Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 16th and 17th as well as two dates at Cardiff Arena on June 19th and 20th.
The busy Sheffield group will also host their own festival at Lancashire Cricket Club on July 28th and 29th.
