Indie rockers Arctic Monkeys have shot straight to the top of the UK singles chart with their second single I BET YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR.

Following three weeks at number one with PUSH THE BUTTON, Sugababes drop a place to number two, while boyband McFly are a new entry at number three with I WANNA HOLD YOU.

Robbie Williams's TRIPPING falls two places to number four and last week's number three, DON'T CHA by PUSSYCAT DOLLS FT BUSTA RHYMES, is at number five.

Meanwhile, THE Prodigy are a new entry at number one in the UK albums chart with compilation THEIR LAW - THE SINGLES 1990-2005, knocking Sugababes' TALLER IN MORE WAYS down to number two.

Simply Red's SIMPLIFIED is another new entry at number three, while Katie Melua drops down a place to number four with PIECE BY PIECE.

James Blunt is at number five with Back To Bedlam.
