Review of Apples single Reason 45

What do Knickerbocker glories, doner kebab meat, the ladies of Pussycat Dolls and The Apples new single 'Reason 45' have in common? They have a little bit of everything chucked in there. Now, personally I think that makes the first three items particularly good, I'm not sure about the single though, or the music of Pussycat Dolls, but who listens to their videos anyway.

'Reason 45' opens up with a ska-esque trumpet, followed by an eighties bass line and nineties synthesiser hook. The cockney twang vocals then enter, the lyrics are pretty simple and the chorus seems to use the proverbial 'Oh, oh, oh's' to give it a semblance of sing-along. Not for me I'm afraid, although sexy clad girls smeared in tasty ice cream, holding kebabs most certainly are.

Oh, and I think it's mostly women who actually listen to the Pussycat Dolls videos.
