Sir Anthony Hopkins is set to star in an upcoming movie focusing on the infamous kidnapping of Dutch businessmen Alfred 'Freddy' Heineken.
The star will take the role of the late Heineken Brewery heir, who was snatched at gunpoint in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and held hostage with his driver in 1983 for three weeks until a $20 million (£13.4 million) ransom was paid.
The film, entitled Kidnapping Freddy Heineken, will also star Jim Sturgess and Sam Worthington and is to be directed by Daniel Alfredson.
Production is set to begin in Belgium later this month (Oct13) before moving to Amsterdam and New Orleans, Louisiana.
The dramatic incident was previously portrayed in 2011 movie The Heineken Kidnapping, starring Rutger Hauer as the brewery boss.
