Annie Lennox is auctioning off handwritten lyrics to five of her biggest hits to raise money for her Aids charity.

The Scottish singer has written out the words to her songs Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart), Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves, Why and Here Comes the Rain Again, and she is giving fans the chance to get their hands on the personal mementos by putting the notes under the hammer.

The proceeds raised through the eBay.com sale will go towards The SING Campaign, an organisation founded by Lennox to help women and children affected by Hiv and Aids.

She says, "As part of this year's SING Campaign auction, I have written out the lyrics to five songs. It's all fabulous so take a look".

The sale will end on 8 December (13) and the lots had already attracted bids of between $87 (£58) and $510 (£340) as Wenn went to press.
