Hollywood stars Annette Bening, Harrison Ford and Jack Nicholson are being
lined up for lead roles in a stage adaptation of classic movie Casablanca.
Writer DAVID RAMBO has adapted the original 1942 screenplay for the stage,
and will open the doors of Los Angeles' Pantages Theater for one-night-only on
3 April (05) to raise money for THE ACTOR'S FUND OF AMERICA.
Bening is first choice to fill Ingrid Bergman's role as ILSA LUND, while
both Ford and Nicholson are in contention to appear as RICK BLAINE, originally
played by Humphrey Bogart.
Support roles will be filled by DOOLEY WILSON, Peter Lorre, SYDNEY
GREENSTREET, Claude Rains and Conrad Veidt, reports PAGESIX.COM.
