Anne Hathaway, the 28-year-old American actress currently shooting 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises', says she emailed James Franco after their infamous Oscars performances, despite reports suggesting the pair had fallen out.
In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, Hathaway speaks for the first time about The Oscars, where she and Franco were widely panned for their hosting style. Franco had called Hathaway "a Tasmanian devil" following the show, but the actress says she took the dig in her stride, saying, "How did I take it?...I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit". Despite the critical mauling, Hathaway remained upbeat about her stint as Oscars host, saying, "In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don't see a downside". The actress ended her four-year relationship with RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI following his fraud scandal in 2008, but has since found love with the actor Adam Shulman. When pressed on life with her new man, Hathaway said, "So far, it's worked out great", adding, "Mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life".
Anne Hathaway will star as 'Catwoman' in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated new movie 'The Dark Knight Rises', which also stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine and MARION COTILLARD.
