'The Carrie Diaries' actress AnnaSophia Robb has admitted it's uncomfortable filming kissing scenes with her co-star Austin Butler because she's not ready for real love yet.
AnnaSophia Robb isn't ready for true love.
'The Carrie Diaries' breakthrough star - who was cast as a young Carrie Bradshaw in the 'Sex And The City' prequel series - claims acting intimate with her co-star Austin Butler is awkward, especially since he's madly in love with his real life girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and she doesn't feel ready for that kind of commitment just yet.
The 19-year-old actress explained: ''One of the biggest challenges for us is to be sexy and flirty on camera because we just can't take each other seriously any more - kissing on camera isn't that fun ! But he's so cute!
''He talks about Vanessa all the time. They're crazy in love! I don't think I'm ready to be that in love. They put so much time into their relationship, and I'm too selfish right now.''
AnnaSophia might have landed one of the most coveted roles on TV, but she claims she wasn't always so lucky or successful and was considered an outsider in high school.
The blonde starlet said: ''I think girls are especially worried about being judged, and when you're in high school, everything seems like a bigger deal than it is. As soon as you're out, it feels like forever ago - zip-a-dee-doo-dah!
''So do what you want, and if people are going to judge you for it, who cares? You might not fit in, but that's OK. Everyone thought I was weird in high school!''
