Congratulations to Anna Faris and her husband CHRIS PLATT who have welcomed into the world their first child together, a baby boy named Jack.
Jack was born on Saturday (August 25th) prematurely and is currently being treated in a neonatal intensive care unit at a Los Angeles hospital. The DICtator star's Publicist released a statement following the birth to People magazine, saying that both Anna and Chris are happy with their "beautiful boy" and that he will be spending "some time in the NICU." The statement also reads that the pair are thankful of the support and well wishes, saying, "The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honour their privacy during this time."
Faris first announced the good news that the two were expecting back in May this year, with Faris showing off her baby bump to the public for the first time a short while after whilst at the premiere for the Sacha Baron Cohen film The DICtator, in which she plays Cohen's love interest.
Comedy actress Faris and her Parks and Recreation actor husband Platt have been together since the mid-2000s and wed in a small ceremony in Bali in 2009 after a year of being engaged to one another.
