Anjelica Huston has slammed the Oscars for handing out awards to old Hollywood stars because it robs them of their dignity. The ROYAL TENENBAUMS actress thinks the trend for honouring aged stars is wrong, and insists they should rewarded at their peak of their career - or not at all. She recalls, "I had to present an Oscar to '30s THIN MAN actress Myrna Loy. Myrna was nearing 90 and too old and frail to make it from her home to the ceremony so I had to present her an award via a satellite link. "She was incapable of lifting it so it was placed on her table next to her chair. She could only muster a simple 'thank you'. "They'll be digging out ROY ROGERS' horse TRIGGER next and giving him an Oscar!"
