Classic 1978 comedy Animal House has been voted the best beer-drinking movie of all time, in a poll by American brewery Heartland. Fans of the fraternity flick will be raising their glasses after learning the movie has beaten off competition from Paul Newman movie COOL HAND LUKE and 2003 comedy Old School. But Heartland boss JON BLOOSTEIN was disappointed that The Deer Hunter, starring Robert De Niro, only came in at 11th place. He says, "I was disappointed The Deer Hunter didn't place higher. That was responsible for the resurgence of Rolling Rock beer." The full list of drink-guzzling movies is as follows: 1. NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE 2. OLD SCHOOL 3. The Shawshank Redemption 4. The Graduate 5. TITANIC 6. SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT 7. ET THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL 8. COOL HAND LUKE 9. National Lampoon's Vacation 10. BACK TO SCHOOL 11. THE DEER HUNTER 12. All About Eve.
