Charlie Sheen Ashton Kutcher Jon Cryer Angus T. Jones

CBS has announced that the next season of 'Two and a Half Men' will be the show's last, with speculation that Charlie Sheen could re-join the sitcom's cast for the big farewell beginning to ramp up. Entertainment chief Nina Tassler didn't make any promises to The Wrap though suggested there would be lots of surprises.

"I would like to see whatever Chuck would like to do," Tassler said. "He has assured us that he has a lot of surprises in store. I don't know if that's one of them."

Angus T. Jones Wants You To Know That He Still Regrets 'Two And A Half Men'

Angus T. Jones Chuck Lorre

Angus T Jones really, really wants you to know that he regrets his work on Two and a Half Men. About a year ago, Jones first spoke out about it in an online video. He was then relegated to a recurring character on Men, but is yet to actually appear in any episodes. Now, the former child star might have gotten himself into even deeper trouble with the show’s production team, speaking about the clash between his values and those displayed on the show.

Angus T. Jones, Power of Youth
Let's take a look back to a younger, less bearded Jones.

"It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people," Jones said in an interview with Houston CBS affiliate KHOU. "I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't OK with it and I was still doing it."

Ashton Kutcher Crowned Highest Paid Actor On TV For Second Year Running

Ashton Kutcher Jon Cryer Angus T. Jones Ray Romano Neil Patrick Harris Mark Harmon Patrick Dempsey Tim Allen Charlie Sheen

Ashton Kutcher has topped the list of Highest Paid Actors in Television for a second year running, earning an estimated $24 million over the course of June 2012 and June 2013, according to Forbes Magazine. The star of the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men has made most of his money from his role on the Chuck Lorre show, as well as a considerable amount from his role as Steve Jobs in the biopic about the late Apple co-founder.

Like the man he portrayed in the flop biopic, Kutcher also has a keen business sense, and has made some of his millions by investing in a number of emerging businesses. The Jobs actor has stakes in tech companies Airbnb, Foursquare and Path, however it is his role as billionaire Walden Schmitt that has earned him the largest chunk of his impressive yearly earnings. The Forbes estimate does not take into account any of his business earnings, only what he has earned through the entertainment industry.

Kutcher's Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer also made the list, coming in at second with an estimated $21 million in earnings between 2012 and 2013. Angus T. Jones, who is no longer a series regular after a video of him condemning the show as "filth" emerge online, also made the list thanks to his role on the show. Although his stint as a regular on the series has since ended, having recently been replaced by Amber Tamblyn as a series regular, Jones is still likely to make a considerable amount of regular income thanks to the show's syndication.

Ashton Kutcher Tops The List Of Highest Paid Actors On TV

Ashton Kutcher Jon Cryer Angus T. Jones Ray Romano Mark Harmon Neil Patrick Harris

Ashton Kutcher may have overseen a significant drop in ratings on Two & A Half Men since it's Charlie Sheen-starring heyday, but that hasn't stopped him from reaping in the cash and becoming the highest paid actor on television. According to the latest Forbes Magazine list, the actor made $24 million over the course of June 2012 and June 2013 from his work on the Chuck Lorre show, making him the top earner on TV.

Kutcher's co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are both on the list too, with Cryer coming in at number two, earning an estimated $21 million over the course of last year, whilst Jones is seventh with $11 million. With the show now in syndication and looking like it won't be ending any time soon, CBS's cash cow looks as though is will continue being milked by the lead actors for some time to come. Even though this will likely be Jones' final season on the show, he will still benefit financial from the show's syndication.

Ray Romano comes in third, still earning millions from the syndication of Everybody Loves Raymond and for his voice work on the Ice Age films. He also received a hefty paycheque for his story arc on Parenthood.

Two And A Half Men, CBS Announce Lesbian Character Jenny

Charlie Sheen Angus T. Jones Selma Blair

After ten seasons of Two and A Half Men on CBS, public breakdowns from two-out-of-three of the main cast and a high-profile replacement, Chuck Lorre thinks it’s time to address the plot, just to mix things up a bit.

And considering Two and A Half Men can basically be called Three Men, or Three Half Men depending on your take on the comedy, Lorre reckons a 21-year-old lesbian from the Big Apple should just about do it. It might just have to be called Two Men One Woman, as Angus T. Jones is pretty much out for season 11.

"I think it would be great have that voice on the show from a different perspective," Lorre told reporters at TCA. "The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime." Jenny will be Charlie Harper’s – previously played by Charlie Sheen – ‘illegitimate’ daughter.

Who Will Play Charlie Sheen's Gay Daughter On 'Two And A Half Men'?

Charlie Sheen Ashton Kutcher Angus T. Jones CBS

CBS are on the hunt for a young actress to play Charlie Sheen's lesbian daughter on Two and a Half Men. Ok, so Sheen left the show some time ago, but the comedy will introduce the "sexy and gorgeous" estranged 21-year-old daughter of Charlie Harper for its 11th season.

The news was confirmed to Entertainment Weekly, with a source saying Charlie's daughter will have recently moved to Los Angeles from New York. The character will effectively replace Jake, played by Angus T. Jones, who will cut down his appearances on the show to focus on attending college.

That's the official line coming out of CBS, though it's clear Jones' role on America's biggest sitcom became untenable after he actively encouraged fans to stop watching the show before of its adult themes.

Two And A Half Men Replacing Angus T Jones With A Leading Lady

Ashton Kutcher Jon Cryer Angus T. Jones Charlie Sheen

With the “Two and a Half Men” cast dwindling as it has been – Angus T. Jones got cut at the end of the last season, there is room for a brand new cast member. Presumably in an effort to keep things fresh, the show’s producers have decided to replace Jones with a lady. The news was first reported by Deadline and so far, there haven’t been any updates on names being considered for the part.

The new addition will be introduced into the story, in a rather convoluted twist, as Charlie Harper’s daughter. Apparently, she’ll show up out of the blue, looking for her father and she will wind up moving in with the bachelors. Yes, ok, not the best storyline, but even the fact that the series is adding a lady as a main character is pretty progressive, in light of previous “Two and a Half Men” history.

Or it could be a desperate ploy to boost viewership in any way possible. The series’ ratings just haven’t been the same since Charlie Sheen’s departure in one final burst of media attention. But while Sheen’s replacement with Ashton Kutcher was somewhat successful, it’s difficult to imagine Two and a Half Men without its oh-so-important half. Plus, Two Men and a Girl just doesn’t sound as catchy. Catchy or not though, the role could be a major opportunity for some budding Hollywood talent. Just wait for the casting rumors to start

Two And A Half Men Will Keep Chugging Along, But With Only Occasional Appearances From Angus T Jones

Angus T. Jones Jon Cryer Ashton Kutcher

Two and a Half Men, that perplexingly infamous CBS sitcom has been renewed for a new season (hold your groans), but Angus T Jones will not be returning as a series regular. Yes, this once again prompts quips about the missing “half” of the show. Considering that Jones is 19 now though, that’s been missing for a while now and none of the viewers seem to complain. So Jones won’t be a regular, but Studio Warner Bros. is reportedly in talks to get him back as a recurring character on the show, according to Entertainment Weekly. So if you were getting anxious over the lack of Jake Harper (we don’t really see why you would), there’s no need to worry.

Earlier this year there was speculation that Jones might be booted off Two and a Half Men entirely, after a video was leaked on Youtube of him enthusiastically bashing the show and its production team. But CBS apparently decided to be the bigger people (they also probably didn’t feel like reworking the entire series formula) and CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said earlier in January that the conflict had been resolved:

“The kid’s 19 years old,” Tassler said at the time.”I’ve got a 24 year old. Between the ages of 19 and 24 there’s been plenty of things my kid has come out and said that I wish he hadn’t but the bottom line is cooler heads prevailed. [Jones has] been a beloved member of that cast for years and years and he issued a public apology. At the end of the day, they want him back and he wants to come back and that’s it.”

Hollywood And Religion: Or, How Angus T. Jones Became A Laughing Stock

Angus T. Jones Mel Gibson Joe Eszterhas Tom Cruise John Travolta Angelina Jolie Bruce Willis John Malkovich

When Angus T. Jones recorded his interview with Christopher Hudson, the leader of the Forerunner Chronicles Christian group, he may well not have expected the reaction that he got. The star of the Two and a Half Men sitcom denounced the show as “filth” and urged viewers to stop watching it. Presumably not quite the marketing plan that the show’s executives had in mind (though as we know, these bouts of ‘technically bad’ publicity have a habit of working in your favour) but Angus was keen to share all that he had learned since turning to religion.

In the interview clip, Angus speaks to Hudson as though he is some form of demi-god and looks thrilled to even be in the same room as him, reaching out to touch him as though he can’t believe he’s real. As he very publicly looked a very generous gift horse in the mouth (He earns a reported $350,000 per episode. Yes, per episode), the world winced and cowered away, sniggering. Within hours of the video clip hitting the internet, it had gone viral and the 19 year-old had quickly become a laughing stock.

What exactly was Jones’ biggest crime though? Dissing his employers? Undermining the very thing that gave him the wealth and privilege that he’s able to enjoy? Or was it all the nutty, slightly alarming religious stuff that he was spouting for the majority of the interview? If he’d just said “Two and a Half Men is cr*p,” would we have cared quite as much? Would the story have run quite as far and quite as wide as it did? If there wasn’t that cringe-worthy explanation of why he went on the hunt for a church with a “black gospel theme,” would this all have mattered so much? If he hadn’t starting aligning light entertainment with the devil, because of his newfound religious beliefs? Of course not.

Angus T. Jones Gets Vote Of Confidence From Best Friend/Girlfriend

Angus T. Jones Barack Obama Jay Z Kanye West Rihanna

And so the fallout from the Angus T. Jones religious outburst, Two and A Half Men denouncing video really begins. A superfan, who some report to be his Jones' girlfriend, has voiced her support for who she considers to be her "best friend".

"He's not having a meltdown or a breakdown," Sarah M., the teen from Toluca Lake, Calif., told the Daily News. "He's my best friend," she added. "We're really close. He never expected anyone to see that video," the superfan known online as "Stalker Sarah," told The News. "It was not a big deal." Asked whether she also considers Jones' show "filth," she smiled.  "I've watched it. It's a half hour of dirty jokes," she said. Those are nice words, sure, but the support of someone widely known as 'Stalker Sarah" doesn't immediately strike us as a solid source.

The other man in the video, Christopher Hudson, a controversial activist from Alabama, has also been forced to respond to the media following Jones' words, which, we're sure he 'expected' people to see. "I'm not an extremist," Hudson explained. "I use colorful language to cement my ideas. I don't think Obama is the new Hitler. I like Obama. I was talking about some of his policies and comparing them to the policies (of Hitler)." He had previously linked President Obama to Adolph Hitler and claimed Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna are "in league with Lucifer, you see. "If I was in Angus' shoes and had his spiritual awakening, I hope I would not continue on the program," Hudson said. "But Angus is highly intelligent. Whatever decision he makes will be between him and the maker."

Matthew Perry Pokes A Lot Of Fun At Angus T. Jones' Religious Outburst

Angus T. Jones Matthew Perry

What do you do when a well known Hollywood actor denounces his own TV show to the amazement and surprise of both his fans and colleagues? Well, if you're Matthew Perry, you link up with the good people at Funny or Die, and you parody the hell out of is. (Sorry Jones; parody the... heaven out of it?)

"Glancing at the bible has led me realize that my show, Go On, is a complete abomination with terrible morals," jokes Perry, citing some of his favourite Bible stories, which are suspiciously similar to Life of Pi - the book recently adapted to the big screen by Ang Lee. Perry continues to dig the proverbial knife into Jones, as he 'promises' to give all the money back he's earned in Go On and Studio 60, but when someone asks him, "What about Friends?" Perry says, "What, do you think I'm a f**king moron?" The hilarious vid centres on Angus's rather ridiculous denunciation of his own show, while still raking in thousands of dollars per episode. Perry also mocks Jones' speedy apology, by apologizing seconds after in the same video.

Anyway, you should check out the video (below) for one of the funniest parodies going. We're assuming Perry decided to do this for his own, self-serving marketing reasons, so bear that in mind, Angus - while you're entitled to your own beliefs - you really had this coming.

Angus T. Jones To Leave 'Two And A Half Men': Is The Show Doomed?

Angus T. Jones Charlie Sheen Chuck Lorre Ashton Kutcher Jon Cryer

Angus T. Jones has somehow talked himself out of a 350k per episode television job. As we reported earlier this week, the Two and a Half Men star taped a video for the Forerunner Christian Church, calling America's most popular sitcom "filth" and urging viewers to stop tuning in. He made a hastily prepared statement half-apologizing for the remarks, though there appeared to be a clear lack of contrition.

We speculated on the whether or not the show could continue with Angus T. Jones still on-board, and it seems as though he and production bosses have made a decision. A source close to the show has confirmed to E! News that Jones plans to complete filming the current season and will most likely not return should CBS order another season (something almost nailed on given the recent acquisition of Ashton Kutcher). It looks as though creator Chuck Lorre is planning to phase out Angus from the plotline and it actually ties in well with the star's current status on the show (he enlisted in the army at the end of season nine). The insider said, "He won't be in every episode. How much they use him will be up to [creator] Chuck Lorre. The intention wasn't ever for him to be in every ep this year anyway. Now it might be less." Jones, Kutcher and Emmy winner Jon Cryer all have contracts through the end of this season though Warner probably intended to sign all three stars up again once CBS picked up the show for season eleven. Should it be renewed, it's "unlikely" Jones were return as a series regular. "You might see him for a few guest spots," said the source.

It would be a pretty sad end for Angus T. Jones, given that he's been a mainstay on the show since the Charlie Sheen days. His old pal reacted to the controversy this week, calling his former employer "cursed". No surprises there then.

Angus T. Jones: Biggest Hollywood Backtrack Ever?

Angus T. Jones

Angus T. Jones' religious outburst, which denounced his show, of which he has been a part of since he was a young lad, caused a viral internet surge. While most of us would agree that Jones is entitled his own religion and beliefs, his comments may just have annoyed the Two and a Half Men people... just a bit.

And it is in light of this, that he has released a statement apologizing, and stating his intent to honour his contract. "I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours," Jones' statement, released on Tuesday night through a rep, read. "While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear. Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on 'Two and Half Men' with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family," his statement continued.

So, Jones seems to have been caught in a big old hole, clutching a spade in the shape of a statement as he digs and digs. Is this the biggest public backtrack in Hollywood history? We think it might be, you know. Good luck T. Jones.

Chuck Lorre Blamed For Bizarre Angus T. Jones Testimony

Charlie Sheen Angus T. Jones Chuck Lorre

Charlie Sheen notoriously had a pretty difficult time a couple of years ago which eventually lead to being sacked from Two and a Half Men, on which he played a character also named Charlie. Now, another star of the show, Angus T. Jones, who plays Charlie's nephew, is also going through a tough time, which has come to a head in a mass of criticism after his testimony for the Forerunner Chronicles was released online. The video included him describing the show as 'filth' and has resulted in many people thinking he's having some kind of meltdown.

Sheen is one of the people both standing up for Jones, but also acknowledging that he's not exactly in his right mind right now. Speaking to TMZ, he said, "Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T. Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube yesterday." Adding, "I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre's hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami."

In a statement, also released to TMZ, Jones made something of an apology, saying: "I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family."

The Office's Rainn Wilson In Hilarious Angus T Jones 'Filth' Spoof

Angus T. Jones Rainn Wilson

The Office star Rainn Wilson (he plays the role of Dwight) has recorded a spoof of Angus T Jones’ recent interview, in which he branded Two and a Half Men (the show he’s paid thousands of dollars to appear in, playing the role of Jake) “filth.” Jones was explaining how he’s found God and how the content of Two and a Half Men doesn’t sit easy with him any longer.

In the interview for Forerunner Chronicles, he pleads with viewers not to watch the show, saying “if you watch Two and a Half Men, please don’t watch Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it.” In his own send-up of the interview, which doubles as a promo for the new season of the US version of The Office. He begins the skit by looking into the camera and announcing “Dwight from The Office is nothing, ok? The Office is nothing… If you watch The Office, please don’t watch The Office. Because I’m on The Office; it’s filth. Okay? And that filth will rot your brain.” He continues: “Take it from me, who’s on The Office, please don’t watch The Office, Thursday nights at 9 o’clock on NBC. Do not watch this final season; that filth will rot your brain.”

Not only was it a cunning way of promoting the new series, it’s damned hilarious and further proof that Angus T Jones may well have lost the plot. Watch Rainn Wilson’s hilarious Angus T Jones spoof here:

Christopher Hudson Declares Admiration For Angus T. Jones's Religious Outburst

Angus T. Jones

Angus T. Jones' controversial comments about his own show, Two and a Half Men, in which he plays the popular character of Jake, have been endorsed by Christopher Hudson, who hosts the online show, ForeRunner Chronicles.

"I'm impressed that this young man has the ability to deal with this situation in a responsible way," Hudson said today, according to ABC News. "This young man is a noble young man. Because he is not just professing Christ with his words and saying that he's a Christian, but he's showing the proof." Given just how much money he makes from the show - a cool $300,000 per episode, making him the highest paid teen actor in Hollywood, the comments have had a mixed reaction, and are sure to create an odd working atmosphere for the actors on set.

"Jake from 'Two and a Half Men' means nothing," he said in the YouTube vid. "He is a non-existent character. If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.' I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it."He goes on, "Please stop watching. Please stop filling your head with filth, please. People say it's entertainment ... the fact that it's entertainment ... do some research on the effect of television on your brain and you'll have a decision to make."

Angus T. Jones Denounces Two And A Half Men As Filth... Hang On A Minute

Angus T. Jones Charlie Sheen

We should be used to Two and a Half Men stars going a little crazy on the internet. This time it's Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake on the popular but hugely lucrative sitcom, which saw its star Charlie Sheen go viral recently.

"Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing. He is a non-existent character. Two and a Half Men[sigh]...if you watch Two and a Half Men please stop watching. I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it," he said on a video posted to The Forerunner Chronicles YouTube channel. "Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth." He went on by imploring people to "research the effects of television on your brain" saying: "People say it's just entertainment. The fact that it is just entertainment...It's bad news. It's bad news. I don't know if it means any more coming from me, but you might not have heard it otherwise. So, watch out."

Are you thinking what we're thinking? Jones grabs $300,000 per episode of Three and a Half Men, making him the highest paid teen actor in the U.S, so, this outburst has come as quite a shock. In fairness to him, he joined the show at a very young age, and probably hadn't formed his own ideas of the world, and before he knew it, he was part of something huge. Still, it seems strange for someone to denounce the medium that has made them financially secure for life. Perhaps we'll buy it when he donates all that evil money to religious charities.

Cyrus Getting Sexy: Miley Cyrus Matures For Two And A Half Men

Miley Cyrus Ashton Kutcher Angus T. Jones Foo Fighters The Dave Matthews Band Public Enemy Flavor Flav

Miley Cyrus is shaking off her Hannah Montana image and getting saucy with her forthcoming Two and a Half Men appearance. Miley, 19, landed a guest spot on the popular sitcom and plays the daughter of one of Walden’s mate’s (Walden is played by Ashton Kutcher). With the new Miley Cyrus haircut - a sleek blond bob - it’s clear that Miley is leaving her Disney days behind as MTV have shown her pictured on a bed with Ashton, wearing a skimpy lingerie set, which leaves little to the imagination.

It’s not Ashton that she’s after, in the show though – so Mila Kunis can breathe a sigh of relief. Miley’s character Missi has her sights set on Jake – played by Angus T Jones. Her latest TV appearance seems to be the next step in her campaign to become a sex symbol, rather than a squeaky-clean teen star. Earlier this year, it was reported that she’s working on her new album, which she hopes will be “very adult and sexy and believable.” She’s signed up with Red Light Management, who deal with the likes of Foo Fighters and The Dave Matthews Band, so we’re expecting a rockier image from Cyrus this time round.

Miss Cyrus might have to be careful that she doesn’t try to grow up too quickly though. Just last weekend, she was involved in an embarrassing social faux pas, when the Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav had his photo taken with her, mistakenly thinking that she was Gwen Stefani. Most women would kill to be mistaken for Gwen Stefani, of course, but it’s worth remembering that she’s over twice Miley’s age!
