Australian brother/sister folk band, Angus & Julia Stone, got up on stage at The Chapel to give a live performance of their song, 'You're the One That I Want' - the fourth track on their 2011 EP 'Big Jet Plane'.
Australian singer/songwriter duo Angus & Julia Stone released their self-titled third studio album on 1st August, 2014, with the first track, 'A Heartbreak', being released as a single on 8th July, 2014, with a music video having been released.
Tentatively venturing onto a stage littered with unusual tit-bits such as floral arrangements, teddy bears and microphones decorated in ivy, sibling duo Angus and Julia Stone looked as though they were surprised by their popularity in the UK. Performing to sold-out venues across the UK, with The Ruby Lounge no exception, the pair were humble from the outset.
Angus & Julia Stone are a sibling's duo from Newport, not Newport South Wales but Newport, Sydney, Australia. After both going solo in around 2006 they decided to collaborate and create music as a duo, and obviously it is safe to say that the pair haven't looked back since.
