Thistlewit: Juno Temple

English actress Juno Temple has been cast as meddling pixie, Thistlewit. In 2013 Temple won the BAFTA for EE Rising Star, as voted for by the public and is also billed to star in the upcoming Sin City movie, due out for release later this year.

We don’t know about you, but Juno does remind us a little of a naughty fairy, she has that mischievous imp look about her.

Stefan: Sharlto Copley

The role of King Stefan has been nabbed by South African actor Sharlto Copley, who has only been acting since 2006 but has already starred in big budget movies, The A-Team and Elysium. It seems like Stefan’s role in Maleficent is going to be expanded upon from the 1959 animated film. We’re looking forward to finding out what Stefan did to Maleficent to inspire the events of the film.

Anyone who has seen a trailer for Maleficent so far knows that it looks like Jolie is going to do an outstanding job. She sounds suitably sinister and looks fantastically frightening, we think she is the ideal choice to play the wicked fairy.
