Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is striking a blow for peace - she's funding an anti-war sculpture in Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.

The Tomb Raider actress, who has an adopted Cambodian son MADDOX and her own house in the south east Asian country, has donated $12,800 (GBP8,000) to pay for British artist JOE RUSH's creation, which is being fashioned out of abandoned weapons.

Rush says, "Violence has destroyed everything in the country, and they need inspiring. I won't know what I am going to make until I have seen the armaments I have to work with."
