Angelina Jolie giggles about her status as a Hollywood superstar when she visits poverty-stricken women in far flung places around the globe - because many of them don't know what an actress is.

The TOMB RAIDER star and jet-setting UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND (Unicef) ambassador was left humbled by a group of refugees in Sierra Leone recently when they found her job description hilarious.

Jolie recalls, "They said, 'So what do you do?' and I said 'I'm an actor and they said, 'What is that?'

"(I said) 'Well I dress up in really strange costumes and I tell stories,' and they thought it was funny and it is... What a crazy thing to do for a living."
