Angelina Jolie has revealed in a television interview that she and husband Brad Pitt are expecting twins.
The Tomb Raider actress was being interviewed at the Cannes Film Festival to promote new animated movie Kung Fu Panda when her co-star Jack Black let slip that Jolie and Pitt would be adding two more children to their brood.
The actors are already parents to four children together: adopted children Maddox, six, Pax Thien, four and three-year-old Zahara, as well as biological daughter Shiloh, 20 months.
And while being interviewed for NBC's Today programme, Black said that Jolie and Pitt would soon have "have as many [children] as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these".
When interviewer Natalie Morales asked Jolie whether she could confirm her pregnancy, she replied: "Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already.
"Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually," she added.
When Jolie told Black he had indeed broken the news of her pregnancy, he replied with a sheepish "sorry".
She had set the rumour mills in motion in January by arriving at the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) awards wearing a maternity-style dress.
And her estranged father, actor Jon Voight, added fuel to the fire by saying at the time that it would be "wonderful" if tabloid reports proved correct.
"It's wonderful news that she's having another child, if that's true," he said.
"I can't count on anything the press says about her because there is so much said but she has certainly captured the imagination of the press."
