Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt brought their children shopping for toys at a discount store.

The A-list couple, who have six children, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, were spotted shopping for last-minute Christmas presents together at budget retailer Target in Robina in north east Australia on Sunday (22.12.13), after asking the store to accommodate them after hours so they wouldn't be mobbed by fans.

A Target staff member told the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper: ''They made sure no one was around to blow their cover. The store manager waited until everyone had gone home and opened it up secretly for them at 7:30pm on Sunday.''

The employee added: ''She said they shopped for around an hour and a half to buy presents for their children and friends. Who would have thought people like them would do their shopping at Target?''

Target's Chief Executive Stuart Machin also confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: ''Team at our Target Robina store are thrilled that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their children shopped at Target today.''

The actress and her children have been staying in the area for a few weeks as the 38-year-old actress is currently directing the war drama, 'Unbroken' on the Gold Coast.

Brad, who is shooting his upcoming movie, 'Fury' in the UK, has taken a break to join his family in Australia for the festive period, and enjoyed a belated birthday celebration with them on Monday (23.12.13) after turning 50 on December 18.

The famous family enjoyed a cruise on the Coomera River before docking their boat to take a walk on a private beach.

The Jolie-Pitts are expected to celebrate Christmas at a private villa on the nearby Hamilton Island.
