Richard Gere: The Bedford Post Inn (New York)

If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and maybe indulge in a bit of yoga, then the American Gigilo himself Richard Gere has the place for you. The Bedford Post, an 18th-century house and barn in Bedford, New York, got the star treatment when Richard Gere and his wife transformed it into a luxury B&B with an emphasis on yoga. The Buddhist couple's hotel include eight rooms, two restaurants (one for casual and one for formal dining) and a yoga studio. Gere has described his vision for the hotel as, 'a place where people could come and discuss the world and how we can affect it in a positive way,' but hopefully they'll also enjoy a good night's sleep.

Robert DeNiro: Greenwhich Hotel (New York)

When not acting, screen legend Robert DeNiro has managed to build himself quite the business portfolio. In New York you can spend a night or two at the The Greenwich Hotel in the Tribeca area. Apparently this one is so good, you'll wish you could move in, or so says The Globe and Mail. Along with being a hotelier, DeNiro is also a co-owner of the Nobu restaurant chain alongside its namesake celebrity chef. Last April the  restauranteur also branched out in the hotel business, opening the first Nobu hotel in Las Vegas.
