Kylie Minogue and Kaiser Chiefs will perform at English racecourses.

The global superstar and the indie rockers have been announced as the headliners for a series of 'An Evening at the Races' events, presented by music promoter Jockey Club Live.

Speaking about her excitement for the shows, the 'All the Lovers' hitmaker said: ''I'm so excited to be performing at 'An Evening At The Races'. I have an amazing band and fabulous dancers and we can't wait to share my hits with you in a beautiful Summer outdoor show. Being from a horse racing city like Melbourne, I'll be sure to have a flutter on the horses myself!''

Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson had an accident on the bumper cars while filming their next single.

The 36-year-old singer was spotted wearing an eyepatch at last night's (12.05.14) Radio Academy Awards and insists things got ''out of hand'' at the fairground when they were working on the video for their music.

He said: ''We were filming a video for our next single and I had a minor accident.

Kaiser Chiefs Debut New Material At London Gig

Kaiser Chiefs lit up the stage at an intimate gig at Scala in London last night (13.02.14).

The rock band previewed a number of new tracks from their eagerly anticipated album 'Education, Education, Education And War', following a gig in Manchester earlier this week, their first live shows since frontman Ricky Wilson became a coach on BBC talent show 'The Voice'.

The gigs have kicked off their first tour since drummer Nick Hodgson quit the band in 2012, which will include dates across mainland Europe and Madrid.

Ricky Wilson has had to prove himself as a singer on his band's new album.

The Kaiser Chiefs frontman, whose band are set to release their new record 'Education, Education And War' next month, admits he felt under pressure to brush up on his vocal skills after becoming a coach on BBC talent show 'The Voice'.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''I've really had to step it up vocally on the new album. Obviously, if I am judging other people's singing on the show, then I have to prove I can do it too.''

Kaiser Chiefs stayed in a ''shed'' in order bond before recording their latest album.

The 'Ruby' hitmakers confined themselves to a small barn in Bath, Somerset, to work out their differences and write new material, after drummer and co-songwriter Nick Hodgson quit the band in 2012.

Frontman Ricky Wilson claims the trip with remaining members - Andrew White, Simon Rix and Nick Baines - was make or break for the group.

Kaiser Chiefs want a new band to "rejuvenate British guitar music."

The 'I Predict a Riot' group are hoping a new group can get people listening to traditional bands again.

Guitarist Andrew White told the Gainsborough Standard newspaper: "There's a lot of rubbish out there but at least record labels used to be able to sieve that out. There hasn't been that 'new Oasis' or 'new The Smiths' yet and I really want one to come out and rejuvenate British guitar music again.

Kaiser Chiefs Rocker Joins Scooter Rally

Kaiser Chiefs rocker Andrew White has signed up to take part in an attempt to break the world record for the largest ever scooter rally.

The British guitarist will join more than 540 other riders to cross the length of the Humber Bridge in Kingston Upon Hull, England next month (Aug10).

White's attendance has been confirmed by organisers of the Grimsby And Cleethorpes Scooter Scene, with committee member Jake Parker telling Grimsby.co.uk, "To have Andrew White riding his scooter over the Humber Bridge... will be amazing.

"We were absolutely stunned when we found out he was coming... It would be absolutely brilliant for the town if we broke the world record."

British rockers Kaiser Chiefs have forgiven OASIS star Noel Gallagher for branding them "a bad Blur".

The band brushed off the criticism from the outspoken WONDERWALL hitmaker, and all members insist they're now on good terms with their rock rivals.

Drummer NICK HODGSON says, "We hung out with them in Australia. Noel, especially, is a really, really good laugh."

Kaiser Chiefs guitarist Andrew White has put his life on hold to achieve success with his band - but he hopes his fame will diminish eventually so he can go back to leading his own life.

The OH MY GOD hitmaker gets so annoyed when he is told what to do by record company bosses and managers, he sometimes years for his previous life even though he had no money to his name.

He says, "Sometimes I miss my freedom. Fair enough I was broke but at least I could think about what I wanted to do. Now someone tells me what to do all of the time. I find that quite hard as a 30-year-old man.
