A trailer for the upcoming 'Amazing Spider Man' movie, starring British actor Andrew Garfield, has leaked online before its intended premiere this weekend. A promo for the movie was scheduled to screen in theatres before Captain America: The First Avenger, but a version filmed on a mobile phone has surfaced online, reports Cinema Blend.
The poor quality of the video mean some scenes are hard to make out, but one particular shot from Spider Man's point of view sees him sweeping across the New York City skyscrapers. The movie also appears to have been shot in a distinctive darker tone, setting it apart from Sam Raimi's previous Spider man movies. The leak comes shortly after a clip for Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' also surfaced online before its intended premiere at the screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. On Monday (18th July 2011), a trailer for the hugely anticipated 'Avengers' movie also began circulating online, but it is unclear whether the leaks are linked in any way.
'The Amazing Spider Man', directed by Marc Webb, is scheduled for release on 3rd July 2012. The movie also stars Denis Leary, Martin Sheen and Irrfan Khan.
