Early risers were treated to the odd site of former cricketer Freddie Flintoff wrapping 'This Morning' co-host Holly Willoughby on the program on Itv1. Flintoff's rather odd moves were for the honest pursuit of raising funds for the charity Sports Relief. The former England man had set himself the task of achieving 12 world records within one day across a variety of weird and wonderful pursuits but - as he did on this one - failed somewhat.
Among Flintoff's challenges failed were to land a reverse bungee jump attempt and a three-point turn by just three centimetres. He needed to wrap Willoughby, meanwhile, in newspaper within a time of three minutes and seven seconds, his task made impossible by the fact he struggled to find the end of the roll of sticky tape. He also failed to eat a muffin in 35 seconds, blaming the quality of the food, according to The Press Association. "I'll be honest with you - the preparation wasn't good. I think it had been in the canteen for three weeks," said the downcast sportsman.
