Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith are joining the cast of 'Magic Mike XXL'.

The 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' actress' has inked a deal for the sequel, though her role in the movie sequel hasn't yet been explained, and the 'Gotham' star is in talks to play a strip club owner, Deadline reports.

The two actresses will join returning stars Channing Tatum - who is also co-writer and producer on the movie - Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer in the film, and it has also been reported Alex Pettyfer has just inked a deal to also reprise his role from the 2012 box office hit.

The casting news comes shortly after it was confirmed Oscar-winning star Matthew McConaughey will not be returning as money-grabbing club boss Dallas.

It had previously been speculated the 'Dallas Buyers Club' star wouldn't be in the film because of his escalating fee in the wake of his success during awards season, though it is also said to be unclear how his character could fit in with the road trip theme of the sequel.

'Magic Mike XXL' is scheduled for release next summer.
