Anastacia has been forced to cancel a forthcoming tour, after being diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s the second time that the 44 year-old pop singer has been diagnosed with the potentially life-threatening disease. She successfully battled breast cancer back in 2003 but now, we learn that sadly, it has reappeared, forcing her to cancel all tours, performances and travel plans, according to a press release.

Her European tour was scheduled to start in London on April 6, 2013 and the singer has expressed her regret at no longer being able to fulfil her future touring commitments. “I feel so awful to be letting down all my amazing fans who were looking forward to 'It's A Man's World Tour'. It just breaks my heart to disappoint them.” Although her tour dates have been cancelled, the ‘I’m Outta Love’ singer still hopes to carry on with the writing and recording of her new album material, despite the diagnosis and necessary treatment. She also wishes to reschedule a tour as soon as she is able to.

Anastacia’s motto is “Don't ever let cancer get the 'Best of You!'” and she remains determined to survive the disease once again. The press release states that refunds for the forthcoming tour can be obtained from the point of purchase. A request for privacy was also made, to allow the singer to deal with the news in her own time.
