Amy Winehouse's father is planning to derail a potential biopic about his famous daughter by refusing to let movie bosses use her music.
The late singer's filmmaker boyfriend Reg Traviss recently revealed he had been approached to direct a movie about Winehouse, but he turned the offer down.
Mitch Winehouse has now spoken out about the movie plans and he is adamant he would never release the rights to her music for use in such a film.
He tells Britain's Mail on Sunday, "It would hardly be a biopic without the music and we'd never allow the songs to be released."
