Amy Winehouse has reteamed with DJ/producer Mark Ronson to put her spin on LESLEY GORE's tale of heartache IT'S MY PARTY for a new Quincy Jones tribute album.
The track will appear on the upcoming Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, which will hit stores in November (10).
Gore's 1963 hit was one of Quincy Jones' first hits as a producer.
He says, "I am thrilled that she and Mark wanted to be a part of this album and I absolutely love what they did to make the song their own.
"Amy's talents as an artist are undisputable and I am astounded not only by her voice but by her tremendous knowledge of and respect for music and its history."
It's My Party will be the first song Winehouse has released since her hit cover of the Zutons' Valerie, which appeared on Ronson's 2007 album Version.
