Amy Winehouse's battle with drink and drugs make the perfect plot line for a musical, according to the singer's brother ALEX.
The Back To Black hitmaker has endured a turbulent few years as her huge success was teamed with a rampant addiction to narcotics and booze, which led to several hospitalisations and rehab attempts.
After a lengthy stint in the idyllic Caribbean resort of St. Lucia earlier this year (09), and divorcing her husband Blake Fielder-Civil last month (Jul09), the star's family is convinced she is ready to return to the limelight.
And the star's older brother Alex Winehouse believes his sibling's eventful life would make a hit stage production.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Amy is much better. I think one day there could be a musical of Amy's life.
"You just don't ever know how far things can go these days."
