I only listened to Amy Winehouse after her death and am absolutely blown away by the magnitude of her talent and magnetism as a performer, sober or not, so I disagree with you on the propriety of releasing her previously unreleased material because I want to hear it, and I only feel slightly guilty that my wishes in that regard grind against her articulated need to exercise artistic control over her product. I justify this transgression on the basis that all proceeds from sale thus far of her posthumously released material will go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which, according to Mitch Winehouse, Amy Winehouse's father, is dedicated to assisting families with children suffering from catastrophic diseases and who also lack the financial resources to access excellent, sometimes only palliative care, among other worthy causes.
