Sophie Turner Says Sansa Stark Is A "Leader" With "The Strength Of Her Family" In 'Game Of Thrones' Season 8
Sophie Turner says that Sansa Stark is "so empowered" in the final six episodes of HBO fantasy series, 'Game of Thrones'.
'Game of Thrones' may be one of the most talked-about shows of recent history, but that doesn't mean network HBO will be drawing the series out for as long as possible. Instead, the upcoming eighth season - which will consist of just six episodes - will be the series' final outing, and audiences can't wait to see how this story reaches its conclusion.
Throughout the years, we've seen some incredible characters come and go in the Seven Kingdoms, with those still around lucky to have kept their lives. One person who has defied the odds on several occasions is Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner. She's been assaulted on every level, and gone from a young and precocious child, to a woman of strength and determination. So, what's ahead for Sansa?
Sophie Turner has played Sansa Stark in 'Game of Thrones' since the show's conception, and is a character who has gone through an incredible evolution.
'Game of Thrones' has entertained millions across the globe for seven seasons to-date. With shocking twists and turns, and a whole host of characters that viewers have taken into their hearts, it's one of the most talked about and successful shows of the modern day.
Though we know 'GoT' will come to an end with its next season of six episodes, there's already been one spinoff confirmed, taking place thousands of years before the events of the current series. Other spinoff shows are also in the works behind-the-scenes, so it's fair to say we haven't seen the last of the Seven Kingdoms; we're simply edging closer towards the end of this particular story.

Sansa Stark's story in 'Game of Thrones' has seen her become "stronger" as a person.
As 'Game of Thrones' fans mull over what may happen when the show returns for its final season in 2019, audiences have been given the news that at least one spinoff's pilot has been given the green light by HBO. Exactly what comes of the Seven Kingdoms after 'GoT' reaches its conclusion remains to be seen, but we imagine there will be plenty of options for those working behind-the-scenes to discuss.
Still, with six feature-length 'GoT' episodes to go, all eyes will be on the characters that have been lucky enough to survive up to this point, as the Night King and his army of White Walkers descend on the living, breaking through the Wall that has kept them at bay for years.

The 21 year old English actress, who plays Sansa Stark, spoke to Variety in an interview published on Wednesday (December 6th), and confirmed that season eight of ‘Game of Thrones’ “comes out in 2019” and added there is still “six or seven months left” of filming for it.
Rumours concerning the final six episodes of HBO’s expansive fantasy drama, which made its debut way back in 2011, began when the seventh season concluded back in August. However, HBO did not issue any statements at the time.

Arya and Sansa haven't exactly been the best of friends since their Winterfell reunion.
Still reeling from the shocking events of the last episode of 'Game Of Thrones', fans are turning their attentions to what may happen in the season 7 finale. We know that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen will be travelling to King's Landing for an audience with Cersei Lannister, but exactly how that goes down is anybody's guess.
We also know that we'll be seeing more from Winterfell, where Arya and Sansa Stark appear to be at loggerheads as to how they should progress in this ever-changing world of violence and politics.
The fourth episode of season 7 continued to push forward at a rapid pace.
This week's episode of 'Game Of Thrones' was another brilliant burst of action and drama, with more big moves being made by everybody involved and Drogon finally getting to jump right into the midst of it all, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) sat on his back whilst he did so.
With so many major things happening this week, it's hard to remember absolutely everything that went down - especially after that shock episode ending - but one thing that everybody is sure to remember is yet another Stark family reunion.

The 21 year old, who plays Sansa Stark in 'GoT', spoke to Porter magazine this week.
Sophie Turner has revealed the uniquely ‘millennial’ way that she lands new acting roles – not because she was necessarily a better actress, but because she had a larger social media following!
The 21 year old English actress, who has been in the spotlight since her teenage years after landing the role of Sansa Stark in HBO’s fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones’, has built up a huge social media following - 1.34 million Twitter followers, 5.4 million on Instagram and 2 million on Facebook. This, she claims in a new interview with Porter magazine (reported via NME), is the primary reason she’s landing new roles, even ahead of those who are better actors than her!
“A lot of what I have achieved is about timing and luck, but it is also, and I hate to say it, about a big social media following,” Turner admitted.
