Macaulay Culkin (born 26.08.80) is an American former actor, best known for his work during his early career in the film 'Home Alone' and its sequel, 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'.
Net Worth: According to Celebrity Net Worth in 2014, Macaulay Culkin has a net worth of 15 million USD.
Childhood: Macaulay Culkin was born in New York to Broadway actor Christopher Cornelius Culkin and Patricia Brentrup. As a child, Culkin studied at a Catholic school, as well as studying ballet at the School of American Ballet. From the age of four, Culkin was involved in acting in a few stage roles.
Career: In 1990, Macaulay Culkin gained his most successful role in the film 'Home Alone' as Kevin, the main character. Two years later, he reprised his role in the film 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'. Despite the success of the original film and the moderate success of the sequel, due to declining success of his additional film and television appearances, he took some time out of the film industry. After making a brief reappearance in the early 2000s, Culkin made various appearances in reality television shows and contests.
In December 2013, Culkin recorded a video of himself eating pizza as a parody of Andy Warhol's video of eating a burger for a documentary. The video went viral, and worked as promotion for his New York-based underground comedy rock band, The Pizza Underground. When the band was booed off-stage on one occasion, the band cancelled their later tours throughout 2014.
Personal Life: Despite refusing to comment on his personal life, Macaulay Culkin was arrested in 2004 for drug possession, as well as supporting Michael Jackson during his trial, as the two had become friends during his early career.
The actor has one major problem with the films that shot him into the spotlight.
When 'Home Alone' was released all the way back in 1990, it became an instant classic and spawned a number of spin-offs, one of which even included original leading star Macaulay Culkin, in the role of Kevin McCallister. Now a classic Christmas film, 'Home Alone' is to this day beloved by millions, but Culkin may put the brakes on their appreciation for the story.
The film sees the young Kevin left at home when his huge family go off on holiday to another State. It just so happens that his family house is also one targeted by a pair of thieves, who want to get their hands on whatever they can, no matter the damage done. Working to not only keep himself busy whilst his family have gone, but save himself from the evil thieves, Kevin comes up with a variety of inventions to keep the intruders at bay.

He reveals how his dad was 'mentally and physically' abusive of him.
Macaulay Culkin is best known for his work as a child star, but few realise how hard he was driven by his father Kit; himself a failed actor. In fact, Macaulay has recently gone as far as to say that his father was abusive to him while he was growing up.
The 37-year-old has confessed that, despite his father being the force behind many of his acting gigs in the nineties, the pair haven't actually spoken properly in 25 years. He even got emancipation from his parents to protect the fortune that he made from movies like 'Home Alone', 'Richie Rich' and 'My Girl'.

Kevin McCallister now has serious issues.
Everyone's favourite Christmas classic has finally been given a half-decent sequel as Macaulay Culkin returns as the now-troubled Kevin McCallister from 'Home Alone' in the first episode of web series ':DRYVRS'. It's slightly gruesome, full of bad language but is nonetheless a hilarious parody of this all-grown-up beloved character.
Ever wondered just what happened to Kevin McCallister in his later years? Being left at home (alone) while your family fly to Europe understandably has lasting effects on your morale, but we bet you didn't think things could get this bad. In this episode, lead character Jack Dishel from indie band The Moldy Peaches meets Kevin as he steps in for his wife as a driver for her car service - even though he can't drive. Jack offers to take the wheel, and their subsequent conversation soon gets awkward when Kevin ignores a call from his mother. 'You forward calls from your mom? That's ice cold, dude', says Jack, to the annoyance of Kevin.

Macaulay Culkin's band were forced off the stage in Nottingham after facing a disgruntled crowd. But which bands in music history have suffered worse fate at the hands of displeased crowds?
Macaulay Culkin and his pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band, the imaginatively named The Pizza Underground, suffered the chagrin of a disgruntled crown in Nottingham during the city’s annual Dot To Dot festival. Culkin, who was by this point half-way through a European tour, beat a hasty retreat from the stage after being drenched with beer.
It proved, that in this age of disconnect, where audience members can turn to the comforts of smart phones during lacklustre gigs, music fans are still eager to openly voice their displeasure. Only a few days later, Culkin announced the cancellation of the remaining tour dates. He has not openly cited the event as the primary motivation for such a cancellation, but it seems all too obvious that the hostile reception he received had severely impacted the decision. Macaulay is far from being the first to suffer the wrath of an embittered crowd and few are safe from the ramifications of a poor or ill-judged performance. Here are ten examples of performers receiving a severe dressing down from irate audiences:
Macaulay Culkin and his band 'The Pizza Underground' were booed off stage in Nottingham, but what went down?
If we could have one guess at what Macaulay Culkin is up to right now, it’s that he’s Home Alone sulking. OK, just kidding! We had to slip that one in somewhere, and it’s actually quite a likely guess.
The 33 year old actor, best known for his role in the Home Alone films, angrily left the stage this week when crowds began booing him and his band. Culkin and his comedy band, The Pizza Underground, were performing at Nottingham’s Rock City as part of the Dot to Dot festival when the incident took place. He was alleged to have stormed off the stage after a group of audience members decided enough was enough and began throwing full pints of beer at the band.
