The actors went public with their love this week
Actors Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have finally gone public with their romance but it has now been claimed the pair kept their union a secret for five years for Katie to pocket a $7million divorce settlement from her first husband, Tom Cruise.
According to an old Radar Online report detailing papers from Holmes’ divorce to the father of her daughter, Suri, Katie agreed not to publicly date another man for five years in exchange for £3.6million in child support and £3.8million payment for herself.

Katie and Jamie finally went public with their relationship on Monday, having reportedly dated in secret for four years.
The couple, who are widely believed to have been dating secretly since 2013, were spotted together in public for the first time, walking on the beach in Malibu, California on Labor Day on Monday (September 4th). In contrast to the secrecy of years gone by, they held hands and wore matching hats as they strolled along the oceanside.
Foxx and Holmes have taken serious measures to keep their relationship under wraps for all this time, with rumours abounding that Katie’s ex-husband Tom Cruise included a clause in their 2012 divorce settlement banning her from dating publicly for five years.

Good news: Steven Soderbergh's well-publicised retirement from directing only lasted about four years. He's back with this lively, relentlessly enjoyable caper that feels like a mash-up between his Ocean's Eleven and Magic Mike movies. Using America's economic situation as a launching point (without any political message), he spins a loose-limbed adventure with a gang of endearingly scruffy characters. If this is your cup of tea, it's a proper guilty pleasure.
In West Virginia, the Logan family has had a string of very bad luck, leaving Jimmy (Channing Tatum) with a dodgy knee and his younger brother Clyde (Adam Driver) with a missing arm. Their sister Mellie (Riley Keough) has so far escaped injury, so Jimmy hatches a plan to change their fortunes by robbing the Charlotte Nascar race course, which he knows inside and out because he's just been sacked from his job there. They need the help of explosives expert Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), who's in jail. So in addition to an elaborate heist, they must also plan a prison break. They also bring in Joe's nerdy gamer brothers (Jack Quaid and Brian Gleeson).
Frankly, all of these people are such misfits that no one would ever suspect them of being capable of carrying out such a complicated plan. And that's the point: it's easy to underestimate people who seem uneducated. This gives the cast plenty to play with. Tatum and particularly Driver are terrific at the centre, with their hang-dog expressions and understated skill sets. Keough gets to play the one person in the story with brains, and has a great time rampaging through each scene. But the movie is stolen by Craig, who goes wildly against type as the hilariously nutty Joe. In one classic scene, he barely contains his exasperation while explaining how to make a bomb out of gummy bears.

Jimmy and Clyde Logan are two down-and-out brothers from West Virginia. Jimmy has been fired from his job on a construction site for reasons relating to insurance and Clyde's job as a one-armed bartender hasn't worked out too well either. To get themselves out of the financial mess that they're in (and, indeed, that their family have been in for almost 100 years), Jimmy suggests robbing $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina during the hugely anticipated Coca-Cola 600 race over Memorial Day weekend. He has discovered how the money is being moved to a bank vault, but they need to spring the vault-blowing expert Joe Bang from prison in order to execute the heist. With the help of their sister Mellie and their new pals the Redneck Robbers, they plot the perfect robbery - but all is naturally not going to go as swimmingly as they could have hoped.

Katie Holmes and Leah Remini are both no longer members of Scientology
Despite the fact that former power couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorced three years ago, it seems that the pair still know how to rile each other up. As controversy about Scientology continues to hit the headlines, it appears Tom is angry that ex-wife Katie has reached out to the Scientology enemy.

While on TV discussing her new autobiography, she claimed that the Church used her to attempt to recruit Jennifer Lopez.
Ahead of the release of her new memoir next week about her career and her experience with Scientology, actress Leah Remini has given an explosive new interview about the religion.
Remini, most famous for her role as Carrie Heffernan on CBS sitcom ‘The King of Queens’ from 1998 to 2007, was speaking to ABC’s ‘20/20’ on Friday night (October 30th) when she made a series of claims about the religion exploiting her and then dumping her when she had outlived her usefulness.
“Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself,” she asserted. “You are a person who is anti the aims and goals of Scientology, you are evil.”

If Cruise is considering popping the question to his new personal assistant, he might not get the answer he wants, new reports indicate.
Much has been made of Tom Cruise’s close relationship with his new personal assistant Emily Thomas, 31 years his junior, but recent rumours that he’s considering asking her to marry him may now be scotched with the revelation that she already has a boyfriend.
53 year old Cruise is reportedly “smitten” with 22 year old Brit Thomas, whom he hired as his PA before filming his new blockbuster Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, and the pair have been seen to be very close on the set of the movie.
However, a source has told The Sun that Emily won’t be interested in any possible advances as she’s already in a relationship with Alex Roberts, who she’s been dating for five months.
