Plans for their reunion get more and more mysterious.
Since the Spice Girls announced that there would be something of a reunion coming up, speculation has been rife about what we can expect from them. Hints of a tour were suggested earlier this month, but now Victoria Beckham has well and truly shot down those ideas.
It was recently reported that the Victoria, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Melanie C were preparing to embark on a reunion tour in the coming months, hitting the UK first before jetting off to the US. However, now that seems like it's not happening.

Reports last week had suggested that a tour was off the cards, because Victoria Beckham did not want to sing.
The hugely anticipated Spice Girls reunion apparently WILL see the girl-band performing concerts in both the US and the UK – but they will not involve any new music.
The recently reunited Nineties pop legends are now expected to tour Britain and perform songs from their back catalogue, before jetting Stateside to perform a series of gigs there as a full five-piece.
Originally, when credible rumours of a reunion surfaced last week, it was reported that Victoria Beckham had agreed to be a part of the new series of projects as long as she didn’t have to sing, thus most likely ruling out any hopes of live shows. Instead, there had been reports of television projects, talent shows and product endorsements being the basis of the reunion.
Reports in The Sun indicate that the five are meeting in London on Friday to discuss terms for a full reunion in 2018.
The reunion that many thought would never happen might finally be on, with reports that all five Spice Girls have agreed to put their differences aside and get together again later this year.
A report by The Sun on Thursday night (February 1st) indicated that the group are about to reunite under the aegis of their former manager, Simon Fuller, for a string of projects that will commence in 2018. Each of the five members will apparently earn £10 million, with reports that Victoria Beckham was the last to be convinced to do the reunion, but on the condition that she will not have to sing.
They are reportedly all meeting in London on Friday to discuss terms for the potential reunion.

Horner had appeared on 'Good Morning Britain' and was bemoaning the increasingly unlikely possibility of a Spice Girls reunion.
The 45 year old singer and TV personality appeared on the ITV magazine show on Thursday morning (January 25th), and talked about her memories of the Spice Girls days. Questioned on the increasingly unlikely possibility of a reunion – rumours of which have been flying around for over two years now – Horner replied that she had “let go” of hopes that the five would get back together.
“Last year I so wanted it to happen, because it was the anniversary, and a few of us were really pushing for it to happen,” she told hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard. “And then it didn’t, so I sort of let it go a little bit. I love the girls, and I’m really grateful for the fans and the music.”

Mel has decided not to join the group for their upcoming reunion shows, no matter how lucrative the offer is.
Mel C has opened up about her battles with depression and eating disorders during her days in the Spice Girls. Speaking to Event magazine, the former Sporty Spice said that sometimes she couldn't even look at herself in the mirror during her heyday with the group, because of the constant scrutiny she was under.
“When the Spice Girls were at their biggest, I couldn’t even really look at myself in the mirror because I didn’t like what I saw,” Mel admitted. “I never said anything to anyone. I was trying to hide everything from myself.
She's promoting her first solo album in ten years, but the hosts wanted to know more about the rumoured reunion.
The much-rumoured Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion might be back on the cards as Geri Halliwell confirmed that the girl group has been in “talks” about getting back together for a brief celebratory tour.
Halliwell, 43, appeared on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (September 8th) when she was asked whether the group had any plans to mark two decades since their first single and album next year. She responded cautiously, admitting that her band-mates Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C had been in preliminary discussions about reuniting (Victoria Beckham is already believed to have turned down the possibility).
However, she didn’t want to get fans’ hopes up unnecessarily as nothing had been set in stone yet. “I think it's really faltering that people are still supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively, that's beautiful, it's really nice. It almost feels you know that it [the Spice Girls] belongs to everyone, like a generation.”

The Sun had broken a story on Friday morning of an imminent Spice Girls reformation for their 20th anniversary next year.
Bunton, a.k.a. Baby Spice, was responding to an article on Friday (August 7th) in The Sun which claimed that the most successful girl group in pop history would be reuniting for its 20th anniversary with an international tour next year, but without Victoria Beckham.
Just a few hours later, she seemed to put a dampener on those rumours on her Heart London breakfast radio show. “If anything happens and it’s concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing’s happening at the moment,” she said.

Can you believe it’s been 20 years since the Spice Girls released ‘Wannabe’?
It’s been nearly 20 years since the Spice Girls burst onto the pop music scene and changed the game forever with their debut single ‘Wannabe’. Now with their special anniversary approaching former band member and ‘America’s Got Talent Judge’ Mel B (aka Scary Spice) has been talking about the possibility of reunion to celebrate the group’s landmark anniversary.
"When you say it's our 20th anniversary, it makes you think oh gosh it really has been that long,” she said during an appearance on the 'Today Show', Thursday to promote her role as a a judge on America's Got Talent.
Victoria Beckham has discussed her relationship with the other members of The Spice Girls.
Victoria Beckham is still close to members of her former pop group, The Spice Girls. The 41-year-old pop star turned fashion designer discussed her friendship with her former group members during an interview at Manhattan's 92nd Street Y earlier this week.
It was Geri’s big day on Friday, but where were her former bandmates?
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell finally said ‘I Do’ yesterday, in a lavish ceremony at the historic Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire. The pop star married Formula One team boss Christian Horner in front of a host of famous faces and at the recepition she even indulged in a solo rendition of Spice Girls hit ‘Wannabe’. But why was Emma Bunton the only ex-Spice Girl in attendance?
Sporty Spice Mel C failed to make Geri’s big day thanks to her job on the other side of the world. The singer was unable to make it back it back in time for the ceremony after appearing as a judge on 'Asia's Got Talent' which aired it’s finale espied on May 14th.
