Is her loyalty misguided, or is she at least partly right?

Judi Dench has divided the internet over recent comments she made defending disgraced superstar Kevin Spacey, who she described as a 'good friend'. She attacked the idea of removing him from 'All the Money in the World', and praised him for his acting performance over the years.

Indeed, it's Spacey's 'acting performance' that has long been an issue for those, including 'Star Trek' star Anthony Rapp, who have finally found the courage in recent years to voice their accusations of sexual assault after the trauma of seeing him so highly venerated in Hollywood for so long.

A new teaser trailer for season six of 'House of Cards' makes it clear that Frank Underwood is officially dead.

Kevin Spacey’s ‘House of Cards’ character Frank Underwood is officially dead, as a trailer for the sixth and last series of the Netflix political drama has revealed.

A new teaser trailer for the series shows Robin Wright, who portrays Underwood’s wife Claire, speaking at Frank’s grave. It didn’t give any details as to how his character died, but the finale of the previous series showed Spacey’s character quitting the presidency as his wife took charge of the Oval Office in a cunning power move.

“I'll tell you this though, Francis,” she says. “When they bury me, it won't be in my backyard. When they pay their respects, they'll have to wait in line.”

Actor Guy Pearce has hinted that disgraced former colleague Kevin Spacey might have acted inappropriately while they were working on the film L.A. Confidential together.

Speaking to Australian talk show ‘Interview’ earlier this week, Pearce recalled his time on the 1997 noir masterpiece L.A. Confidential and described co-star Spacey – against whom dozens of accusations of sexual misconduct have been levelled over the last nine months – as “handsy”.

“Yeah… yeah. Tough one to talk about at the moment. Amazing actor; incredible actor. Mmm. Slightly difficult time with Kevin, yeah. He’s a handsy guy,” he told host Andrew Denton, before adding “thankfully, I was 29 and not 14.”

Kevin Spacey To Star In First Film Production Since Sexual Assault Allegations

By Ed Biggs in Movies / TV / Theatre on 13 June 2018

Kevin Spacey

Spacey will appear in 'Billionaire Boys Club', filmed two years ago and which is coming out in July.

Several months after the multiple accusations of sexual assault and misconduct that looked to have finished his career for good, Kevin Spacey will appear in a new movie.

The accusations meant that two-time Oscar winner, 58, was deleted entirely from Ridley Scott’s last film All The Money In The World, with his leading role re-filmed with Christopher Plummer replacing him with little over a month to go before its box office release at the end of 2017. Netflix also severed all ties with him regarding his hit political drama series ‘House of Cards’.

However, Spacey will now make his big-screen comeback in the film Billionaire Boys Club, in which he plays the role of Ron Levin, a real-life con artist who perpetrated a get-rich-quick scam which preyed on the families of wealthy Harvard schoolboys in Los Angeles in the early 1980s.

Ridley Scott Speaks About Dropping Kevin Spacey From 'All The Money In The World'

Ridley Scott Kevin Spacey Christopher Plummer

The director revealed earlier this month that he would re-shoot all of Spacey's scenes with Christopher Plummer instead - and he's on course to complete it on time.

Ridley Scott has broken his silence about his decision to re-shoot the entirety of his new movie All the Money In the World, replacing the disgraced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer in the lead role.

When the news broke in late October that Spacey had been accused by numerous men of inappropriate sexual conduct, the British director was forced into a difficult decision. He announced back on November 8th that he would re-cast the role of oil magnate John Paul Getty III with Christopher Plummer in the role instead of Spacey, shooting all of his scenes again while still intending to honour the December 22nd release date.

It’s a daunting task, but Scott told Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday (November 29th) that everything was on course to meet the original deadline.
