Musical career: Iggy Azalea started pursuing music as a teenager when she formed a short-lived girl group with her neighbours. When she moved to America, she first started working with Backbone of hip hop collective the Dungeon Family and re-named herself after her dog and the street on which she lived as a child. Interscope encouraged her move to LA, where she began shooting YouTube videos of her rapping. In 2011, she released her mixtape 'Ignorant Art' featuring famously controversial track 'Pu$$y'. In 2012, she signed to T.I.'s label imprint Grand Hustle and released her 'Glory' EP. That year she also ventured into modelling, and unveiled the Diplo and Fki produced mixtape 'TrapGold'. She also appeared at the BET Hip Hop Awards and joined Rita Ora on her tour. In 2014, she released her debut album 'The New Classic' through Virgin EMI and Island Records, featuring lead single 'Work', and it topped the US Rap charts. Other singles include the number one 'Fancy' featuring Charli XCX and 'Black Widow' featuring Rita Ora. The album was announced to be re-issued later in the year in an expanded version entitled 'Reclassified'.
Personal life: Although born in Sydney, Iggy Azalea grew up in Mullumbimby, New South Wales with her artist father Brendan and cleaner mother Tanya. She claims to have Aborigine blood due to a culture-wide eye condition her family possesses. She left high school at 16 after saving money from working alongside her mother and moved to the US, going from Miami, to Houston, to Atlanta and eventually LA.

According to TMZ, an ambulance was quickly summoned and driven to the side of the stage, where the dancer was treated.
However, Azalea attracted massive criticism for apparently failing to even notice or acknowledge what had happened, finishing not only the song but then the rest of the set. Less than a day later, though, she quickly went on to social media to defend her decision and give an update on the dancer’s condition.

On Friday Kesha was was denied her request for a preliminary injunction that would allow her to release music without producer Dr Luke, who she has previously accused of sexual assault and emotional abuse.
Kesha first filled suit against Dr Luke in 2014, claiming the producer had sexually assaulted her and accusing him of sexual harassment, gender violence, civil harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Kesha also claimed that on occasions Dr Luke had ‘drugged’ her.
