The vigil will be open to any members of the public, wishing to show sympathy with Brown's family.

As Bobbi Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life at Emory University Hospital, her family remains at her side in a solemn vigil. On Sunday, Cissy Houston was spotted heading in, as was family friend Tyler Perry.

Image caption Tyler Perry reportedly attended Brown at her bedside.

Another friend, Magic Johnson, called attention to Brown at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party on Saturday, by asking for 10 seconds of silence in Brown’s honour.

The Stars Come Out At The Whitney Houston Biopic Première [Photos]

While the family of Whitney Houston chose not to attend the première of the late singer's biopic, the cast and various celebrities were seen in attendance.

It would probably be an understatement to say that Whitney Houston was a beloved musician. The singer, actress and model has been often hailed as the most awarded musician of all time, and whether you listen to her songs as part of the soundtrack for a critically-polarising movie or while dancing the year away on 31st December each year, Houston is still the only artist to have seven consecutive top charting singles.

In the upcoming Lifetime biopic, 'Whitney', the life of the performer and her relationship with husband Bobby Brown, is charted from the days of her humble church choir beginnings up until her tragic death from a combination of heart failure and drowning at the guest room of The Beverly Hilton. Coincidently, just a few blocks away from the site of her death stands The Paley Centre for Media - the site of the premiere for 'Whitney'.

Justin Timberlake Thanked Everyone In His Billboard Speech. EXCEPT Donald Sterling

Timberlake's statement doesn't even count as controversial at this point.

When Justin Timberlake won the Top Artist honor at Sunday’s Billboard awards, he was very generous with his “hank you” messages. In fact, he thanked everyone – everyone, except disgraced LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Last week, Sterling made a half-hearted apology for his offensive comments from last month. His sincerity was eroded somewhat by the fact that he dissed Magic Johnson in the process.

Image caption JT dropped a truth bomb at the Billboard Awards Sunday.

Apparently hoping to divert attention from his own PR blunders, Sterling said in his CNN interview: “Well, what kind of a guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl, then he catches HIV? Is that someone we want to respect and tell our kids about? I think he should be ashamed of himself. I think he should go into the background. But what does he do for the black people? He doesn’t do anything.”

Alex Trebek Magic Johnson

Trebek's 'Magic Johnson' reaction is a classic quiz show moment.

Alex Trebek is a Canadian man. Alex Trebek is a sports-fan. Alex Trebek knows who Magic Johnson is, and more importantly, who Wayne Gretzky Is. All of this means the Jeopardy! host wasn't impressed with a contestant who gave a comically incorrect on the game-show this week.

The clue was: '100+ assists in an NHL season has been accomplished only 13 times, 11 times by this player.' Of course the answer is Wayne Gretzky. The contestant's answer was Magic Johnson, the NBA basketball star.
