Elizabeth Olsen says both she and Marvel Studios aren't pushing the idea of a solo Scarlet Witch flick.
There's not been much chatter surrounding a potential Scarlet Witch solo movie, and it would seem that's for good reason. Actress Elizabeth Olsen, who plays the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, isn't actually all that bothered about getting her own film outing. She even insists that those at Marvel Studios aren't too excited about any potential opportunity.
Scarlet Witch may not be one of the most talked-about characters from the MCU, but that doesn't mean she's an uninteresting one. Despite being the daughter of Magneto in Marvel Comics, those at Marvel Studios decided to take away her mutant connection before flinging the character into the Avengers.

The actress is to head a new dramedy series on the recently launched service Facebook Watch.
Mark Zuckerberg is poised to take on the world of instant entertainment, recently launching his own streaming service on Facebook, aptly called Facebook Watch. Though the platform is one that's been available for a number of months now, not much has been revealed about the future of original programming on the service, but now we're getting our first dose of exciting information regarding the future. It's worth noting that, for now, Facebook Watch is available only for Facebook users in the United States.
To-date, a focus of the service has been on dating and reality shows, as well sports and human interest, but it was revealed that Facebook had put aside $1 billion for original programming this year. The way in which they make their money looks set to evolve in the future, but for now, ads are shown midway through the shows available to stream.

Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe prepares to come to a climax as ‘The Avengers’ unite with ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy’ to stop the evil Thanos. Directed by The Russo Brothers, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ hits cinemas this spring.
After the events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Infinity War’ sees The Avengers left broken and divided. Some of them even look different, with Captain America (Chris Evans) sporting a beard and the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) with newly blonde hair.
The Avengers face their biggest threat year in ‘Infinity War’
After writing the superb Sicario and Hell or High Water, Taylor Sheridan moves back into the director's chair for this thriller, which mixes a real-life issue with a compelling procedural mystery. It's a gorgeously shot film with especially well-developed characters who bring intensity and emotion to every scene. And they're expertly played by Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.
It's set on the Wind River native American reservation in Wyoming, a spectacular mountain landscape under a blanket of winter snow. An 18-year-old woman (Kelsey Asbille in flashbacks) has been found murdered in the wilderness, and FBI agent Jane (Olsen) has arrived to investigate. With no experience in this kind of situation, she gets help from local Fish & Wildlife officer Cory (Renner) as well as the reservation sheriff Ben (Graham Greene). But Cory is finding this case very difficult, as the victim was the best friend of his daughter, who was killed two years ago. This gives Cory a special desire to solve the case, no matter where it leads.
Without ever getting flashy, the plot grinds along with a variety of revelations that continually add more detail to the case, characters and, most intriguingly, community. Local customs and practices continually add unexpected wrinkles, all of which guides the very specific journeys Cory and Jane are taking through this situation. So in addition to a pointed comment on the situation of native Americans in US society, the film is also a powerfully introspective drama about two people travelling their own paths through this terrain.

Elizabeth Olsen talks about her new film Wind River
In the mystery thriller Wind River, Elizabeth Olsen plays Jane Banner, a federal officer investigating a murder on a Native American reservation with a Fish and Wildlife agent (Jeremy Renner). Written and directed by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario), it was a gruelling project that involved harsh weather and quite a lot of physical preparation.
"I worked with a Green Beret and I got to go to the gun range every weekend," Olsen says of the months before filming began, during which she studied martial arts, self-defence and weapons handling. She thinks this helped her understand Jane's tenacity. "I really admire her belief in her own abilities and bravery. I'm someone who is a fear-based person, so it's a quality that I wish I had more of."

US Fish and Wildlife Service agent Cory Lambert (Jeremy Renner) is an expert hunter and tracker living amongst the snowy terrain of Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. He's used to freezing temperatures and animal corpses, but when he discovers the body of a dead girl while out doing his usual tour of the landscape on his snowmobile, he enlists the help of the town's chief of police who brings in an FBI agent named Jane Banner (Elizabeth Olsen). Unfortunately, she isn't quite the agent they were expecting and, being from Florida, is far from familiar with this kind of weather. But when it becomes clear that they have a homicide on their hands, the three of them band together to uncover the identity of the assailant - or, indeed, assailants.

Hank Williams was one of the most iconic country stars America has ever seen, moving crowds to their feet (and often to tears) with such hits as 'Lovesick Blues', 'Hey Good Lookin'' and 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry'. But away from the mic stand, his life was often in turmoil. Plagued by crippling chronic back pain from his spina bifida occulta, he found himself repeatedly drawn to alcohol which made figures in the music industry refuse to work with him, and later other substances including painkillers and morphine prescribed by a fraudulent doctor. If that wasn't bad enough, his love life was hardly blissful either; both his marriages were marred by legal misfortunes and can only be described as tumultuous and unstable. By his 20s he had developed heart problems, which ultimately led to the saddening and untimely demise of one of country music's most unforgettable legends.

It seems that Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston might be a little more than just two big screen superheroes from the same mega movie franchise. The pair, who are both part of the Avengers, are rumoured to be Hollywood’s hottest new couple after they were spotted together on a night out in London.
Hiddleston and Olsen were picture leaving in a taxi together after dining at The Wolseley in the capital on Thursday. The public outing comes just two months after rumours of the pair’s off-screen romance first made headlines.
Elizabeth Olsen might be an ‘Avenger’ but she’s not in Taylor Swift’s gang.
When Avengers star Elizabeth Olsen met Taylor Swift you’d probably assume that they became fast friends, after all Swifty seems to be BFFs with every hot young Hollywood star. But sadly for Olsen things didn't go quite as planned when she ran into the singer at a bar and the 26 year old found herself indulging in some major fangirling.
Appearing on 'The Late Late Show With James Corden', Olsen recalled her embarrassing encounter with the ‘Shake it Off’ singer when they met during a friends birthday party. Describing her love for Swift Olsen told Corden that earlier in the day she’d been listening to Taylor during her ballet class.
