'The Commons of Pensacola' is a play written by Amanda Peet in her playwright debut and stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Blythe Danner. It is about the light and dark side of close family relationships and came out about out of Peet's interest in the wife of convicted fraudster Bernard Madoff. 'What happens to people who are related to notorious people, especially if they're closely related, it really fascinates me - the idea of accountability, even if you didn't really do anything', Peet told CBS New York.
