Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has suggested that she will be asking her Bgt boss Simon Cowell to be the godfather to her unborn daughter. Holden is heavily pregnant with her second child and currently filming the audition stages of the show. According to a report from the Press Association, she made an appearance on Daybreak and told the show's presenters "I might make Simon the godfather because he could set up a trust fund with stacks of money in it because it's a girl - so she'll need shoes."
On this year's series of the talent show, Holden is joined by the Little Britain comedian David Walliams as well as Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon. Cowell poached Alesha from Bbc's Strictly Come Dancing, which was the rival show to another of Cowell's talent shows, X Factor. Last year, Strictly. beat X Factor in the TV ratings for the first time in several years. Talking about the audition stages, Amanda told viewers that she had been moved to tears by a singer who performed 'Make You Feel My Love', the Bob Dylan song recently popularized by Adele. She admitted, though that she would like someone with a different talent than singing to win the show this year.
When asked how Alesha Dixon compares to the show's previous host, Kelly Brook, Amanda answered "she has a brain." She also joked about the possibility of giving birth whilst the show was being filmed, stating "Good lord, I'm not having anybody down that end on this show, thanks very much!"
