Phew, so know we know something. Everyone, back to bed.
Forget Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko; this decade won’t be defined by their enigmatic presence. Everyone wants to know what Amanda Bynes is doing, why, where she’s doing it, and if it involves Twitter. Luckily, her family have the lowdown.
Amanda'a Been Through Some Rough Times Recently, Is This Her Though?
See, for Bynes, it’s not as simple as being somewhere and people knowing you’re there; she’s got people handing out bogus statements, misleading people. "Jonathan Jaxson does not represent the Bynes family or Amanda," the families’ attorney, Tamar Armanak, said in a statement to E!.
"We are not sure why he is commenting on Amanda's health care or representing himself as a publicist hired by her family," Armanak continued. "Amanda's family continues to be devoted to their daughter's well being." There had been suggestions that Bynes has been moving around from one medical facility to another, and that she was even photographed doing so. A woman in a blue wig was thought to be the socialite, but the family have moved to quash those rumors. That’s right: quash.
"Up until today, Amanda has been at Hillmont [Psychiatric Center in Ventura, Calif.] and not at UCLA Medical Center," Armanak stated. "The photographs of a woman in a blue wig exiting Hillmont for UCLA Medical Center two weeks ago were not of Amanda Bynes."
Okay, this IS Amanda Bynes.
It’s not currently known how much Jaxson – the supposed publicist in all this – actually knows, so his long statement to ET should be taken with a liberal dash of sodium. He begins: "despite some reports, Amanda is improving daily and responding well. There is still a long road ahead, and that doesn't mean being confined to a locked-down treatment center.”
And continues: “Amanda is in the best hands presently, medically, and each day her condition is being monitored. There is not a set release date, but with the great track she is on presently, she will be out of a lockdown facility and continuing to recover elsewhere in the near future. Her parents love her dearly and still are hoping to continue conservatorship after Sept. 30.”
There is more, but it’s boring.
