ERASURE star Vince Clarke and HEAVEN 17 founder Martyn Ware are joining forces to publicise human rights charity Amnesty International's campaign to stamp out violence against women.

The pop stars are appealing for public contributions to a sound installation featuring answerphone messages voicing people's thoughts on the issue.

The project will be showcased, alongside works by Tracey Emin and Alison Lapper, in a London gallery at the end of the month (NOV05).
